On August 2, 2014, several members of Dorn's Archery Barn staff set up shop at the Second Annual Redneck Block Party in Northeast PA. Great bands, good food and redneck parafanilia overcame the soggy weather to produce a fun day. Mike Mannarino Sr did an outstanding job organizing the event which benefited A Hunt of a Lifetime, as well as The First Responders.
Throughout the day participants competed in several Redneck games, earning bragging rights and trophies. The toilet seat toss was one of our favorites, with the distance spitting contest a close second.
To raise more money for A Hunt of a Lifetime, we raffled off a BOWTECH Fuel. Several young ladies from A Hunt of a Lifetime helped sell the tickets to raise over $350.00. Steven Rohler was the lucky winner of the BOWTECH Fuel. When he came to the Archery Barn to get the bow set up, he said he is excited to get out in the woods this fall and harvest a deer.
